Break the Golden Calf
"There also you and your households shall eat before the Lord your God, and rejoice in all your undertakings in which the Lord your God has blessed you. You shall not do at all what we are doing here today, every man doing whatever is right in his own eyes; for you have not as yet come to the resting place and the inheritance which the Lord your God is giving you." (Deut. 12: 7-9)
We must begin to call the people of God back to the place where they lost the testimony of a called-out nation of the Kingdom of God. The so-called church is still dancing around their golden calves. Moses was able to hear the people from a distance and said "It is not the sound of the cry of triumph, nor is it the sound of the cry of defeat; but the sound of singing I hear." (Ex. 32: 18)
What is the sound that we hear today coming from the camp of the Lord's people? I hear false prophets on all sides. The entertainment world has taken almost complete control of the masses (T. Austin Sparks said "Let us be very careful, for the same purpose, of the encroachment of the entertainment feature of sacred service." "Lovers of pleasure" is an end-time characteristic, and the age is running headlong thither. Is it necessary to go with the age in order to attract? Is the Gospel dependent upon this "make-up" for its effectiveness and appeal? I hear so many people say that God changes with the times, but the Word says that God changeth not. We need to break the golden calf of entertainment in the presence of God's people in Jesus name.
The world of arts, craft, dance, song, poetry, line dancing, weight lifting, board breaking, and other human show of power, and everything else seen at Mount Sinai and Las Vegas is now in the presence of God's people. Let us break and repent of this golden calf.
The people have offered continual strange fire before the Lord just as Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron did, and they were consumed. But I see strange fire every which way I look. What did the Lord say? "By those who come near Me, I will be treated as holy, and before all the people I will be honored." (Lev. 10: 3) We must break the golden calf of strange fire and unholiness in Jesus name.
We have the sins of Korah everywhere we look, for men have risen who think they have position in the Kingdom, and are trying to exercise their authority over God's people. Korah and his followers were swallowed up and went into Sheol alive. (Num. 16: 33) We have head pastors, bishops, a pope, and religious leaders everywhere who think they are anointed because they have been to bible college, and they lord it over the flock of God with no understanding of Matthew chapter 20: 25-28. We must break the golden calf of man appointed leadership and division.
Let us remember the warning in Jude 1: 5-6: "Now I desire to remind you, though you know all things once for all, that the Lord, after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, subsequently destroyed those who did not believe. And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day." We must learn the lesson of keeping our own place. God has an order for the church. We are not the head of the body, we do not have a flock, we are not rulers of God's people.
The enemy has always used lies and deception to get men and women to leave their appointed places in thinking they are doing proper service to God. Satan has always used the same methods of destruction from the beginning. He always tries to change God's order of things. He introduces scripture and then spins the word for only one effect - to change the divine order of things. This principle, God's order, is his number one target in all dispensations. First, he himself was not satisfied with his own position in the heavens, and he rebelled and became separated from God as an enemy. Then he took 1/3 of the angels with him. Then he came to Eve, our mother on earth, and told her that she could be like God by eating the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or they would die! Satan said "You will be like God, knowing good and evil." (Gen. 3: 4-5) Then Eve took the headship of her life and taught her husband, and he listened to her instead of obeying God's command regarding the tree. Then the Lord said to Adam "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat from it'; Cursed is the ground because of you (etc.)" (Gen. 3: 17-18)
Later when Jesus was baptized, Satan came to tempt Jesus to change the order of things. He really wanted Jesus to come under him and Satan would be over Christ.
Next we have the church, which is His body. Satan will do everything he can to change the order. Paul the Apostle to the church age, this current dispensation, gave strict instructions concerning this demonic scheme of the enemy. However, the systems of the world have ignored the warning and have even jumped into the error over their heads. It is written: "Let the women keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church. Was it from you that the Word of God first went forth? Or has it come to you only? If anyone thinks he is a prophet or spiritual, let him recognize that the things which I write to you are the Lord's commandment. (1 Corin. 13: 34-37)
And again it says in 1 Timothy 2: 11-14: "Let a woman quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve. And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being quite deceived, fell into transgression." Also, 1 Timothy 4: 1 says: "But the Spirit explicitly says that in latter times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons." And finally Revelation 2: 20 says: "But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads my bond-servants astray, so that they commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols."
What about the scriptures that seem to indicate that women can speak? Look at 1 Cor. 11: 1-15. Verse 5 says "But every woman who has her head uncovered while praying or prophesying, disgraces her head; for she is one and the same with her whose head is shaved." This was written by the same apostle to the church age that said for women to keep silent in the church. Women should pray and prophesy, if from the Lord, but not in the assembly of the church. The main subject of this section of scripture is Verse 3: "But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ." Older women are told to teach the younger women - never are they instructed to teach men. This golden untouchable calf has truly become the lead cow of the so-called divided christian world. The two most difficult things to destroy in the assemblies today is this Jezebel spirit and the removal of the satanic drums with their soulish-demonic beat.
Where are the men of God today who will stand in the middle of the Jordan so the people of God can enter the Kingdom land? I surely want to be clear on this subject. We who are part of the universal church openly reject in Jesus name this entertaining, Jezebel spirit which is in total violation of the church age. I stand with Paul the Apostle and the Spirit of God within the church of the Kingdom. We do not accept this altered road of destruction that leads to deception. It is time to come to Him, back to God's divine order while it is still day. Yes, one will pay a big price in this age for standing where only a narrow band of people ever stood. Did we think that great persecution would come by us compromising on every worldly thing which is introduced into systems of the present darkness? Finally, what is it that we have missed? I think the wide road of Christians have missed "Christ is in you, the hope of Glory". They have found their life in things and people and events and not in the life that comes by way of the death at the cross. We have forgotten "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." (Col. 1: 13-14)
On my part, I reject and stand against all divisions in the church, all denominational and non-denominational systems, all clergy-laity divisions, all the sin and deception preached to the saints, against the Jezebel prophets and teachers, against those seeking power and anointing from the wrong spirit. The real world-wide church is not deceived and has stayed in divine order. In the end, the deceived church will be in a place of much weeping.
And I await the full manifestation of the Sons of God. Amen
